Our Esthetics program at Neroli Institute is a Virginia DPOR-approved 600-hour curriculum that prepares students for a successful career in the beauty and wellness industry. Through a blend of theoretical education and practical esthetics training, students gain essential hands-on experience in skincare, makeup application, and hair removal techniques. Licensing, Accreditation & State Requirements
The Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) is the governing body that oversees the licensing of estheticians across the state. To become a licensed esthetician in Virginia, students must meet the following DPOR requirements:
Complete 600 hours of training through a DPOR-approved education provider
Pass both the Written and Practical Exams administered through DPOR.VA.GOV
Submit a license application to the Virginia DPOR
